Medication Administration and Form

No prescription medication or non-prescription medication will be administered to your student without a Medication Administration form being submitted. Please see our handbook for more details.

Illness Policy

If your student is ill (fever, vomiting, or diarrhea), please do not send him or her to school. Contagious diseases (i.e., chicken pox, strep throat), should be reported so that we can notify other parents to be on the lookout for symptoms.

Because no nurse is available, students who become ill at school will go to the front office and make arrangements to go home. The school office cannot provide internal medication, including aspirin, for students.

Students must be free of vomiting/diarrhea or fever (100 degrees or higher) for a minimum of 24 hours without the aid of medications before they can return to school.
