About Gaarde Christian School
Gaarde Christian School (GCS) was founded in 1967 as a ministry of Faith Journey Church, and has since been successfully educating students in the southwest Portland Metro area. We are registered with the State of Oregon Department of Education and are an active member of the Association of Christian Schools International.
Mission Statement
It is the mission of Gaarde Christian School to provide a loving, safe, Christian environment in which children receive an excellent education rich in academics, character development, and spiritual growth.
